I was approached a few weeks ago by Lauren, a fellow blogger, stay at home mom to Peyton and Thirty-One Consultant to do a Review and Giveaway of Thirty-One Products.

Before I was approached by Lauren I had never heard of Thirty-One Gifts. Since I am a bit selective about what I review and what giveaways I host, I needed to check it out ahead of time. I headed to their website and fell in love!

Thirty-One Gifts sells adorable original products at affordable prices. They are a home based consultant run business that focuses on customer service and selling stylish, functional and beautiful products.

Lauren sent me this adorable Mini Organizer! I know it is called "Mini" but I thought it was quite large. This is the perfect bag to hold all of my couponing accessories. My scissors, notepad, stick notes, tape (sometimes I get a little excited and clip my coupons a little too much) all fit in the outside pockets. My Inserts that are waiting to be clipped fit neatly in the large center pocket.

Thirty-One has a lot to choose from in their catalogue! Everything from pocketbooks, to overnight bags, to aprons, to stationary. There really is something for anyone and everyone! I love the Apron and I will be ordering the stationary for my niece for her birthday. There are a lot of items that I would consider for Christmas gifts for my mom and sisters.

Review & Giveaway: Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil

I was given the Opportunity to Review Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil. I am not sure if you are aware of how FABULOUS Virgin Coconut Oil is, but I am going to fill you in.
I personally love Coconut! I buy them whole at my grocery store and eat about one a week. They are a healthy snack. I was pretty psyched when I found out that you could but Coconut Oil at a reasonable price to cook with at home.

My husband LOVES Brownies! So much in fact that I make them at least once a week. Since David is VERY honest and has a sweet tooth like no other, I thought I would make this weeks Brownies using Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil. I wanted an honest opinion on how it tasted.

I made the brownies that David enjoys, Betty Crocker and substituted the vegetable oil for Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil. I cooked them for 55 minutes at 325 degrees.

When they came out of the oven they looked FABULOUS! I cut into them and they were a but gooey. I put them back in the over for an additional 5 minutes and they were perfect!

The true test was my husband. I waited for them to cool and cut one for David. HE LOVED it! I did too. There is a VERY faint coconut taste. As I said earlier, I LOVE COCONUTS so I was able to pick it out right away, my husband was not as quick to pick it out!

Since we loved it in Brownies I wanted to try it in other recipes. So I used the Virgin Coconut Oil in a Shrimp and Orzo pasta recipe that I am know for. Again, it was FABULOUS! It was light and didn't weight down this delicate salad. It added Fabulous Flavor and Texture.

Ali Blossoms Bowtique generously sent me an assortment of their headbands and hats. Each hat and bow is great quality. I love the colors that they offer – everything from animal prints to bright cheerful colors. I personally LOVE the zebra print with hot pink bow!
All of the headbands and hats have interchangeable flowers! They are on lined alligator clips so they can be worn alone, on hats, or on headbands. The best part is if you see a headband on the site that you would like but would rather have a different flower they will accommodate you. You can also purchase one headband and flower and purchase additional flowers for only $4.00 each.

These headbands and hats are so versatile! They can be worn so many different ways. Currently the hats are only available in one size, they are working on creating larger hats.

How creating beautiful accessories for her daughter bloomed into a small business: The creator of Ali Blossoms Bowtique is Colleen. She is a special education teacher in Western New York. She has been married for two years; her and her husband have two dogs. Colleen started making hats and headbands for her darling 3 ½ month old daughter, Alayna.
